Date: 2007-08-22 08:43 pm (UTC)I agree that Davis is the wrong place for this establishment, but the culture and image of Davis is very distinct from that of Boston. Boston is largely a college town, and also a "townie" town--there's lots of religious, conservative, born-and-raised folks here. A Hooters-esque salon would probably do very well for itself in certain Boston neighborhoods, as well as the North and South Shores.
