I believe this is scheduled for next year. It will probably disappoint you in some ways, as it only involves striping down the middle of the Rite-Aid parking lot, and widening the sidewalk along the busway.

Many people who attended Davis Square Task Force meetings objected to more ambitious plans that involved building a two-way bike path alongside the brick plaza, so that's not going to happen.

Thanks for the info Ron. Though that does sound a little disappointing.

I noticed that's the only Brooks Pharmacy around with out a "Rite Aid coming soon" sign. I wonder if they're already caving to the future CVS @ One Davis Square.

Every Brooks Pharmacy is becoming a Rite-Aid. Some already have the new signs up, others don't.

Brooks has been Rite Aid for a couple of months according to the employees. The sign just has not been changed yet.

The newsletter is very informative. I was glad to see that she posted about the Green Line hearings today but I wish she'd included the email addresses of the 2 people one can direct written comments (if you're interested, they are: katherine.fichter@eot.state.ma.us and christine.kirby@state.ma.us). I don't know how many people actually send physical letters anymore.
