Martsa on Elm closing for expansion, reopening in a month

Martsa on Elm has a sign saying that it will close September 17 for expansion, presumably into the adjoining former Bhoja Cafe space. Martsa will reopen "the second week in October".

to the Dilboy Post? I'll probably at least stop by, though I also want to hit up the Rock and Roll Yard Sale in Union Square. If there's much smoking, I probably won't last more than a half-inning.

Fingers crossed that when they reopen, they have a coffee & pastry bar again. And delicious sandwiches.

Well, it's about time. That papered-up Bhoja space was a real waste; I'm glad they're making use of it, though why they didn't make use of the space in the meantime (even just being open for a few hours in the morning or lunchtime would seemingly be more profitable than paying rent on it) is a bit confusing. Looking forward to the expansion!
