Guitar Teachers?

I'm interested in picking up the guitar this winter and am looking for recommendations for a teacher. I'm a beginner with no experience with other instruments. There are lots of flyers around town and postings on Craigslist, but I need some recommendations. I'd prefer 1:1 teaching or at most a very small group (3) to a class.
