"Expressions", a solo show by artist Francisco De la Barra runs from October 2-28 at Willoughby and Baltic.

Any information available on what the theme of the show is? I'm assuming photography about something.

Good question. It's a show of portrait paintings done in an expressionistic style. Some of the portraits are well known figures, some are people who are part of the artist's life.

The paintings are mostly acrylic, either on wood or on canvas.
