The laptop is an older Dell Inspiron 3500 laptop. I forgot the specs. It has a pentium 2 processor. The processor is slow but it has 536 ram and a small hard drive. Probably can't put a new operating system on it because it would hog too much memory. Windows 98 SE or some other non memory hogging system would work.

It would be a great second computer for internet use only. It's fast with DSL or cable. I also laid out an entire magazine with quark, illustrator and photoshop on it for years so it performs well. it's just antequated

I'm asking $50

How tall are the bookcases? I don't live on Bay State, but I'm oh-so-close...

they are pretty small. One is about 4' high and 3' wide
the other is about the same and has slanted shelves that the books nestle into.

It's a Pentium 4, 60 gig hard drive and 536 RAM...I think.
Can't remember, it's still packed away.
