Bowling Fun!

Come meet some of the Connections Center (still contemplating suggestions for a name change) team  and have some laughs! (Warning: Serious bowling is out of the question if you play with me. Though, you have to promise not to laugh TOO hard! I only bowled a 36 out of 300 last week. Candlepin is HARD! lol)

I'm sorry, I recall this being discussed before, but can you remind me again why the bowling alley is being turned into a community center? Just a link to the original post would be fine... And I'll try to show up Saturday night, need to get my candlepin in while I can!

Well, its not a community center - exactly. But we are creating a space for community to gather with old friends and meet new ones. Also, we are providing unique spaces and services that are an extensions of peoples homes and offices (someone from the last post called it "zipcar" for home and office which i thought was great.

As to why we are changing it - In addition to loving our concept (why else would we be doing it!), bowling alone does not make enough revenue to support anyone buying the building. We will be keeping some of the lanes though - so hopefully we will be having the best of both worlds.
