only saw the sign driving by but in the block of stores where the cupcake place is - one of the empty store fronts has a sign with "When Pigs Fly" and "opening soon" and "fresh bread". Could be a joke

OR it could be that there will FINALLY be a place in Davis to buy decent bread. Yay!

(and then I can go to BSC to work off the carbs. See, the creator has a master plan...)

There's a local bakery that sells it's bread at the White Hen on Broadway, in Ball/Powderhouse. Their name escapes me, but they make this excellent sourdough-esque wheat.

We are big fans. This is also the bread that True Grounds uses for their sandwiches. (If anyone works downtown they also have a cafe by Back Bay station that sells even more kinds of their bread, pastries, etc.)
