Need to rent space in garage for motorcycle storage

Hi folks,

long time lurker - first post.

Looking to store my motorcycle for the winter and am hoping to store it in a nice dry garage.  Anyone have space they're willing to rent out?  Or know of someplace that will and is affordable?  I'm interested in storing the bike from next weekend until the end of winter (I guess april 1?)

Define affordable. Many of the local shops around here do winter storage + oil change, etc for around $300ish..

I checked with GBM in Arlington and they're charging $150 for winterizing + $100/mo for storage. Seems way too expensive. I'm hoping to pay a fraction of that for a corner in someones garage.

I think Riverside in Union charges slightly less -- $70/month, maybe? Even so, it's a lot. Ask around and see if you know anyone with a garage in the 'burbs... (I emailed a friend of mine who has a garage out in Stowe to see if he might be interested; I'll post another note if he is)

I think maybe $30/month is reasonable - since it will essentially occupy a corner and be covered and out of site. Ideally I'd store it with someone else who has a bike and is also keeping it in a nice dry place.

Maybe if you make an offer on how much you want to pay, someone will take you up on it. Of course if you wait for someone to offer you first they might charge less.
