I've got a bunch of free stuff on the curb right now, and also a few free things that would need pick-up arranged. The stuff is on Hancock St. between Highland Ave. and Summer St., and the items are listed out in the below Craigslist ads. Feel free to contact me to arrange pickup of the bookcase or dresses, but please just come take the curb stuff that you want. I've had a very tiring time of moving, and these are things that I just no longer care to put any effort into, much as I'd like to see them get a new home that is not the dump.
IKEA EXPEDIT bookcase, 4x4 cube size
dresses, size 14-16, 2 prom/bridesmaid, 2 other
CURB ALERT lots of free stuff

Date: 2007-11-20 02:05 pm (UTC)(I live at Hancock and Summer and don't find it very difficult to take things there rather than leave them on the curb to get ruined by the weather or hauled off to the dump where no one can use them).

Date: 2007-11-20 02:29 pm (UTC)- hurt my back moving, trying to lift as little as possible
- have another batch of things already set to go to goodwill, this stuff I deemed not that great
- weather didn't ruin anything, everything left is fine, you can examine if you want
- was planning on bringing anything that didn't go onto the porch to set out again later, or bring to goodwill once my back is ok (note: trash hasn't been collected yet). I wanted to try to get as much gone as possible so I'd have to lift less. You see, these things went straight from my car to the curb so I didn't have to lift them much. See again first point: hurt my back.
- funny how you get snarky at someone trying to give things away. I wonder, do you light fires at the houses of people who never bother and just throw things out? You could've said "have you considered Goodwill? It's right down the street", and if your intention had been to encourage me to actually do that, your point would have been made better. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
I will never understand why people feel the need to make condescending, judgemental, snarky comments on everything. Yes, you're better than me, happy now? Does that make your day brighter?
