Found an iPod

 My husband and I found an iPod last Sunday morning (yes, a week ago). We would like returnt it to its owner!
We put up signs but didn't get any responses. If you lost an iPod or have any thoughts on how to find the owner, please email me at ellenorann@yahoo.com.

Well, a start would be to say where you found it, which model it is, and to ask someone to name ten artists that are on the device.

We found the iPod in Davis Square - Holland Street across from Dave's Fresh Pasta.

Or check with Apple and see if the owner registered it.

Seriously, you might check the "Contacts" menu item to see if they have listed any friends and track them down that way.

Maybe the owner was clever and had the iPod engraved with their email address or some sort of identifying information on the back?

I saw your signs and was curious. Anyway if you go to Settings -> About it might say something like John Doe's Ipod ... unless they never set up that part right.
