Ok, so like 4-5 month ago I saw this flyer at Mr. Crepe's for glassblowing instruction/studio usage. It has always been something that I wanted to try. Anyone have that contact info (and, heck, maybe even pricing) or know of any other local place that has a hotshop and gives instruction? Maybe somewhere that sells time in the shop too (since I think my landlord would be ticked if I installed one)

There are at least two glass-blowing studios at Joy Street Studios. I believe they are studios #1 (Matthew Jacobs, Marilyn Root, Liquid Solid Design) and #6 (Wendy Cleveland, Patricia Erickson, Beth Gaertner).

Periodically, CCAE and BCAE offer glassblowing workshops, although I think they're through one of the studios already mentioned.

Depending on how serious you are about it, there are also offerings available through the continuing education program at MassArt. Clicky (http://www.massart.edu/at_massart/academic_prgms/continuing/courses/spring08/intersession/).

The Cambridge Adult Ed Classes are held at Avon Place Glassblowing. They are having their annual holiday sale on December 8 and 9th, so you could probably stop by and see the furnaces if you are interested.
