I've heard (and experienced for myself) plenty of good stuff about Jack's Tailoring on Mass Ave. I'm looking for a dry-cleaner for a coat that I absolutely love and I believe he does dry-cleaning as well--has anyone gone there for this? How is he? Around here I've only used Zoots in Porter and I can't say enough bad stuff about them, personally. If you didn't point out a wine stain that covered the front of a white shirt five times in a loud voice with diagrams, they wouldn't know they should clean it up.

But if anyone can let me know how Jack's is for dry-cleaning (or anywhere else), that'd be great. Thanks!

No comments on Jack's, but I'll echo your comments on Zoots. We paid them $30 to clean our comforter, and they shrunk it. Then when we brought it to their attention, they wanted us to jump through hoops to file a claim and get reimbursed. Forget that, no more business for them.

I think he just sends stuff to Royal White, which does like 90% of Cambridge/Somerville's dry-cleaning.

Jack sends out his dry cleaning.
I'm sure they're good, as he's good and has high standards, but he doesn't do it himself.
