OK, I guess I misread the query. My next-door neighbor last night put up signs offering "Cash for Shoveling", but it turned out that all she really needed was about 20 minutes of help from me. She might some day pay me back in baked goods. ;-)
My friend's condo association found out last night that the guy they were working with was out of the plow business, so hopefully there is some kind of recourse for someone who needs a new vendor asap.
There was a flier on a light post along the bike path near Davis Square. The person posting was looking for snow shoveling/snow clearing work. Most of the little tags at the bottom of the flier that you pull off were gone, but perhaps the phone number is still available on the flier itself.
Also, I have had good luck posting with the Tufts employment office whenever I've needed help of some sort. I've never looked for someone to remove snow, but if I get sick enough of this weather, I might.

Gotta be the same guy who runs this blog: MennonnoSapiens. Used to have another called Masspurgation, but it seems to have disappeared.
