Given the weather and the patriots and the convention and the hunt, it was nice to see about a dozen intrepid participants. Some strangers played games together, some friends played together. Several games were played.

While I had brought many games, I had also had a request to bring Settlers of Cataan...then the next two groups who walked in had also brought Settlers of Cataan. Obviously, we Davis Sq residents have a clear need for people willing to play Cataan with us!

Boloco was very welcoming. They even brought around a plate of blue corn chips with little cups of guac, salsa, and sour cream to each game table (although later arrivals may have missed this as it happened when we first got there).

Everyone had fun and I think everyone was in agreement that it should happen more often, like every month. So it shall.

I will make a general post in the community to relay all this to the rest of the readers. Thanks for asking.
