Diners in Davis

I was up at Killington yesterday and on the way back stopped at a fabulous "food from here"  diner in Quechee called Farmers Diner (www.farmersdiner.com).  I asked where else they were going, and they said they were looking up in Burlington VT but also were considering of all places Davis Square and other communities in and around Boston.  Knowing how into, or not into, our food establishments we are here, would this be something we could or would support?

Gasp, yes! Although how many more restaurants can Davis Square take? Doesn't anyone cook their own food anymore?

i think it would have to take over an existing restaurant... there seem to be a few struggling, maybe it would be a win-win. You're right, don't think Davis can handle much more food without other retail and entertainment bringing more visitors in which i don't see happening soon.

Davis desperately needs an all-night diner again, IMO, so if they were to run it overnight Davis Square could certainly take it. Dolly's used to have lines outside for much of the night.
