Cancelling the Globe Direct or its Fliers
Feb. 7th, 2008 03:21 pmUpdate: "I currently manage complaints for GlobeDirect. Any issues, feel free to drop me a line at 508 871 1910 (my direct line) or jane.segaloff@globe.com." - Globe Direct employee
The number to cancel listed on the Globe Direct is 508-871-1900.
If that doesn't work for you, call:
Director of Sales at The Globe, which wholly owns the Globe Direct
Susan Hunt Stevens
617-929-7310
This process was infuriating for me. When I gave up on getting anyone responsive at the Globe Direct, I started working on The Globe because they own it. Their response, after I told them I had made the proper attempts to cancel, was "I guess there's not really much more you can do." Would you like to guess how I felt?
Well, here's my log:
Mon Oct 8 12:47:33 EDT 2007 Left voicemail.
Tue Oct 9 12:30:07 EDT 2007 Left voicemail.
Mon Oct 15 18:38:42 EDT 2007 got another Globe Direct, left voicemail.
Sat Oct 20 14:23:09 EDT 2007 got another Globe Direct, called Globe, was told to talk to director of sales, Suzan Hunt Stevens, 617-929-7310
Wed Oct 24 14:47:42 EDT 2007
Wed Oct 24 14:51:07 EDT 2007 Suzan Hunt Stevens "out of office until Monday 29th... for immediate assistance call Joanne Wort "I will definitely call you right back today" (of course she never did)
Fri Oct 26 14:37:48 EDT 2007 18 days, 7 calls. Left voicemail for Joanne Wort
Mon Oct 29 10:21:38 EDT 2007 Got a call from Joanne saying she told them to stop sending and will follow up with me again, and the person in charge of Globe Direct will follow up on the fact that they never responded to me.
Every one of the voicemails included my name, phone number and address (as printed on my Globe Direct). This did eventually work.
