Hi, all,

I asked this a couple years back and got some good leads, but things change, and I thought I'd give it another go.

We haven't had housecleaners in a while, and [livejournal.com profile] imlad and I would very much like to get someone to come in and do a thorough clean, maybe once a month.

Whom do you like in the Boston area?

Thanks!

Friends of mine have had good luck with Storck & Storck. They certainly did a good job when my housemates and I used them, but that was back in 1999-2000 so that may be outdated info.

hmm i probably shouldn't say "me! me!" since you likely want professionals with equipment and stuff.

err, donate to my fundraiser du jour?
i've never done it for hire, i just have an affinity for washing dishes and folding clothes and organizing stuff, mainly other people's (that sounds sketchier than meant)

I could use low-key help with recycling (I have shocking amounts of cardboard), which I like in theory but hate in practice. What now?

We adore Fabiola Borges of Fab's Cleaning Service. Fabiola and her crew have been cleaning bi-weekly for us for over a year now. She charges us $80 for a 3br/2bath. It's always immaculate when they leave. I have no idea what they use on our hardwood floors, but it rocks. They have also been excellent about being flexible when we wanted to move our week because we were having house guests or something like that.

Fabiola answers email, so you can either call her or mail her.

Here are their details:

I haven't used these people, but I just did a quick google and was impressed by their web site.

They have action photos! That's so cool. Has anyone used them before?

We've been using AA Environmentally Safe Cleaning for a few months, and have been very pleased with it.
