davis_squareHey all, I checked the City's website and didn't see much: I need to attend some sort of meeting, council thing, semi official meeting or event or something and write a news story about it. Does anyone know of anything not listed on the calendar going on THIS WEEK? My schedule is really crazy so all times and days appreciated.
Also, the place I get my eyebrows threaded at (Salon 350 on Newbury) just upped their cost to $15, is there a cheaper place around? or anywhere really, I just don't want to pay that much when I used to pay like, $11.

On Wednesday, no fewer than 3 BOA Committees (Licenses and Permits, Confirmation of Appointments, and Finance)
are all meeting one after the other starting at 6:00.
And, on Thursday, there will be a special meeting of the BOA to talk about the East Somerville Community School -- but most of that will probably be in executive session and therefore not open to the public.
All the committee meetings will be wide open though.
As for cheap eyebrow threading, I must confess that I'm at a total loss.
