More Free Burritos

For those not too exhausted from standing in the unending ice cream line last night, here's another opportunity to waste your free time for food.

Chipotle in Davis Square has a big sign announcing free burritos on April 17th.  If it's anything like the Harvard Square opening, expect to spend way too much time in (or on, if you prefer) line.

So what's the occasion for this giveaway?

The JP Licks line was long but moved very fast last night. I was in there in 10 minutes or less, and so was a friend who stood in it later.

I was gonna say the same thing--I got in line basically at Porter and had my ice cream really quick.

I think the point was that the line was so long it practically stretched *to* Porter. I think the Porter Square JP Licks is an Emack & Bolio's ;).

Last year, they did a promo around April 17th at the Medford store -- bring in a receipt from April 14th/15th and get a free burrito. I think they promoted it around tax day.

Not as good as their "wear green on St. Patrick's Day and get a free burrito", but still good.
