Recommendation for a local handyman

I am looking for a handayman to help me with repairs on my duplex. Can anyone recommend someone? The most pressing need is someone to replace a hotwater heater, but there is also some minor painting/patching required, so I'd rather have a general guy I can turn to rather than getting a task-specific guy each time I need something.

If your hot water heater is gas, you *have* to get a plumber. Just fyi.

Really? I replaced mine myself, and I've since wondered if that could get me into, um, hot water.

I was told anything involving gas had to be a plumber, but as always YMMV.
