Yes, because we all know people living in and around the Davis Square area wouldn't be caught dead on the D line... not that anyone died, except for the operator. But who cares about her, right?
Did you know it's actually possible to live in one place and regularly travel to another place for business, entertainment, or education? It's called commuting. I myself--amazingly, a Somerville resident!--do it on a regular basis, and the D line is actually one potential route to my school; I take it from time to time. Even though I don't live by it! Wondrous. Like ron up there, it completely defies common sense.
did you know that there are ways to separate your interests into different categories, so that you can cut through the MASSIVE amount of information on the internet, and only see what is of interest to you at a given time? One way is with LJ communities. People can choose which communities to join, and further, choose which ones to read at any given time, thus making their news gathering a much more streamlined and managable experience. After all, if EVERY story about EVERYTHING and EVERYONE was all in one place, it would be impossible to digest, and thus useless! Thanks god I can read about boston stuff in the boston community, Davis stuff in the davis community, and so on, and not have people force their unrelated shit on me constantly.
