Area Movers?
Jun. 7th, 2008 10:42 amOK, so I'm moving from the Davis area to Central Sq. in Cambridge on Saturday June 14th. I can move most of my stuff myself with the help of my friends. However I'm possibly looking to hire a couple of strong people to help me out with doing the real heavy lifting like the futon/dresser, etc.
My problem is that I don't think this is a big enough job to hire professional movers with a giant truck, but I know with the help I have now I can't do it on my own.
Are there any area services where I can rent somebody to help me for an hour or two? I don't even need a truck because I can rent a U-Hal van, I just need a couple of strong people that can do the lifting. Is anybody out there in LJ land looking to get some exercise and make a few bucks next weekend?
Any ideas would be much appreciated!
