Our next
davis_square meet-up is at the Burren next Wednesday, June 25th at 7pm in the "back room".
If you know about the buttons, you can have one. If you don't know what I'm talking about, never mind. ;)
Instead of having a "maybe" category, I'm just going to have this one a yes/no. If you are unsure yet, please vote when you think you are sure as that will make it easier to actually try to figure out how many people are there.
Remember, this is a special trivia night/ meet-up event. The Burren has trivia now on Wednesdays starting at 8pm, but next week they are going to delay trivia till 9pm because they like us. So we will have two hours to drink and be merry and then we can form teams and play trivia.
As usual, they will provide free goodies for us and I'll bring name tags.
P.S., Its also 3 days before my birthday. I'd like a rolex or a new car.

Swift-Boating into Gender Gap
Date: 2008-06-18 03:22 pm (UTC)Each specific example (except Hillary, who deserves better) is true -- and they add up to a huge misrepresentation of the real world.
There are more heart-stopping babes of all genders, ages, preferences and ethnicities in one "Yes We Can" Obama video
http://www.dipdive.com/
than in either list at "grouchy old cripple."
I see your Bo Derek and raise you Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba.
I see your Michelle Malkin and raise you Samantha Power, Rachel Maddow, and Michelle "Glamorama" Obama her own bad self.
But let's not let politics, sexual or otherwise, undermine this group's burgeoning community spirit -- or our ongoing commitment to alcohol-fueled mutual appreciation marathons.

Date: 2008-06-18 04:01 pm (UTC)This is NOT a rhetorical question. I am prepared to cede the point, but Coulter seems to me to be in a category all her own.
