I feel like I've seen this discussed before but the tag system did not help me find anything on it. (why oh why isn't there a search box!) Can anyone recommend a storage rental provider within a few miles of Davis?  I need in the ballpark of 10x10x10 feet of storage space for a few months, the cheaper the better. I know of the U-haul facility and the one on Rt. 38, but have no word of mouth to go on. Thanks!

If you don't need 24 access to the place the cheapest place I know of is Wayside Compartments (http://waysidecompartments.com/) in Malden.

The profile page does have a search box, though I don't know how well it works for this particular question. It's true that we don't have a tag for "storage" so far. I'm going to put this under "moving" for the time being.

I always recommend Big Foot Moving & Storage (http://www.bigfootmoving.com/). They're based in Arlington... I don't know if that's too far for you. I'm not sure what their prices are, either. But the company and employees are fantastic.

Here's an earlier post that I rather inconsistently tagged as "business services". Its comments contain a pointer to two earlier posts. Now that we have four posts, it might be time for a new tag.

I have had very nice service through Patriot Storage - off 16 in Medford. Cheapest around that we found where we could get in every day until 10 PM.

Ask for Gwen. Gay friendly, too, if that matters. :)

I work with a non-profit that has a space in the Uhaul. We've been very happy so far - it's clean, safe, and was actually the cheapest for the amount of space we needed, at least this close to town. We have a 10 X 10 X 6 for 124.95 a month, and the first month was free.

Adding that it was one of the few places that had Sunday hours.
