Bowling?

So, for all the time I've been here I've heard this rumor that there's a bowling/pool place in Davis Square. The rumor also tends to say its a dive.. or they don't serve alcohol.. or something to that effect.

Can anyone clarify this for me? Where it is exactly, name, is it candle or 10pin? Is it bogus?

it's a dive but a fun dive. if you're going to bowl, beware: most of the lanes most nights are filled with league bowlers. but bowling opens up to everyone else around 9ish. they don't serve alcohol. i like it because it's one of the less yuppified places in the square still standing. it's called sacco's bowl haven.

the pool hall is generally uncrowded, has a reasonably priced jukebox and lots and lots of "rough" teenage types.
