Movers?

Does anyone have any mover suggestions? I'm basically moving a room in somerville to another room across town in Somerville. I just have quite alot of bedroom furniture that I cannot carry! I'm looking for small movers... just wondering if anyone has had any luck with any?

I really liked the experience I had with Precision Movers. It was from RI to Somerville, but they are based out of Somerville, so you should save a lot of $ on their travel time! Good Luck

Man with a Van is AWESOME and perfect for small moves. They're usually your cheapest option (maybe $200 or so?) and they've done a great job for me twice.

Oh god Man with a Van changed his price on me several times (inc. mid move) and broke some of my furniture. I HATED it.

I always recommend Big Foot Moving and Storage. They're based in Arlington. But they're probably on the higher end of the pay scale.

I third Precision! I've used them twice and they were really good and not particularly expensive.

I second Gentle Giant! I was all moved in - unpacked and all - in 2.5 hrs when I used them. If you can move middle of the week or not quite the end of the month you get a better deal.

I ended up going with 'Man with a Van'. They seemed to be the cheapest for Sept 1st! Hopefully they will work out well.

I seriously had a HORRIBLE experience with them. They repeatedly changed the estimate, broke some things while moving and were generally useless.
