So, Artbeat was long, and hot, and humid...

Thanks to all who stopped by my booth and introduced themselves. It's always cool to be reminded that cyberspace is populated with real live, living, breathing, interesting people.

1st project right now is for me to get prepped for my impending apartment move. After that, the Davis Square Bookcase is next on the list. I'll keep you all posted about progress, and when it'll be showcased.

Some ideas if they weren't already mentioned... I've been thinking about your first post and staring at our black/brown ikea expedite. Not having a lot of storage in our apartment, I keep tons of random crap in those cubbies and other bookshelves. Games, DVDs, photo albums, those short cylinder plastic cases re-writeable CDs come in, small file box/cardobard systems, binders, paint brushes, our laptops when we aren't using them.... all kinds of random crap. It looks ugly. What about offering a way to cover it partially or completely? Doors or a drawer system at the bottom two feet to store this junk? Or only the bottom two feet with doors. I'd buy that. Also.. I don't like the sharp corners on most bookshelves, what about offering optional a quarter circle insert to wrap around the bookcase to break the corner and for displaying things some people like me would be inclined to put in the bookcase? I think that would be really nice...
