Anyone know what's up with The Golden Jade on Broadway?
That was one of my favourite Chinese places, and when I went today to get lunch, I was met with tons of boxes outside of ketchup packets and other things and a guy yelling at me telling me they're closed.

I was wondering this too! We tried calling them last night, and got no answer - was hoping that they'd just closed for a vacation :(

I love this grubby old place, too. I just called -- no answer. I hope they're just remodeling.

Nope, sorry, they're closed for good. The delivery guy told us a week or so ago that they'd be closing soon. He didn't really give a reason except "business is hard" and "it's hard to keep our restaurant open". I don't know the story, but I mourn the loss of some of my favorite Chinese delivery in the area.

sad! I loved that they were decent, cheap Chinese take out. Apparently too cheap to support the business :(
