HP Printer Power Cable
Jul. 27th, 2008 05:38 pmHi I'm looking to buy or get a free HP Printer Power Cable/adapter. My model is C5180, however I'm pretty sure most HP power cables that have the three little circles at the end will work with my printer. Anyone have a broker printer they don't need that I can harvest? I've tried to deal with with HP customer service to no avail, and their printer cables are proprietary.

If you're looking for the power brick that might be harder to find.

Date: 2008-09-28 12:13 am (UTC)I've been dying to find out what type of connector is used for this cable. I don't need the power brick, just the identity of the connector on the end... the connector that plugs into the printer.
I've posted pics I took of the connector at CNET.com and TomsHardware.com and I've shown the cable to a Best Buy worker, and no-one can identify it. I even promised the forum users a paid reward for the identity of the connector, but no answer.
Here's the pics I took of the connector, just to be sure we're on the same page:

If you can correctly identify this connector, or send me to a site where I can find its identity, I'll send you a check for $10 on the spot.
