Lost/Abandoned Cat

A family member in the Spring Hill area of Somerville has been 'adopted' by a stray cat they're calling Rocky (although they've been told it's a she-cat),   She's a tiger cat, beautiful, very clean, and seems to have been well cared for.   She's very friendly and affectionate, and appears to be pretty young.  They have been unable to locate the owner and can't keep her due to severe cat allergies.  If anyone out there is looking for a lost cat, or is interested in adopting a very friendly cat, please respond!  We hope to be able to find her a good home!

Are you sure she doesn't belong to one of the neighbors of your relative? She could be a cat that just got out of the house. We used to have a cat that came up to our porch every time she escaped from her family who lived up the street. I understand the people watching her have severe allergies but you also don't want to adopt her out if she belongs to someone. Have you called around and put up flyer's, etc?
