Just a note that last night around 12:15 there was someone breaking a bike lock with a brick along the side of the Davis T stop (the wall facing the Theater/Ice Cream window). A passerby and I made eye contact and processed this activity....the suspect then noticed our attention and took off in the direction of the bike path, away from Holland Street. He didn't seem to have anything with him as he ran.
The passerby I was standing with did call the police and give a description of the person. He also looked at the bike and said it was a really expensive bike, and it appears to have actaully been damaged a bit from the banging, etc.
I just wanted to let people know this happened. It's too bad. I hope that something good came from the call to the police.
