What's with all these low-flying and extremely noisy planes today? It's one every 30 seconds! Who else can hear them?

Ravenclaw: It's not that we're smarter than you.

Except that it totally is.

It is a small world. Nice to meet you, too!

That is a HOOT. It's like...my love of Patrick O'Brien novels meets my love of the X-Files!

I do believe it is a reference to Star Trek IV: "Captain, there be whales here!"

I saw that movie way too many times as a kid.

I finally saw it a few months ago. Makes sense. But if that's the case, shouldn't it be the Enterprise and not a flying saucer?

Well, actually for that movie they weren't in the Enterprise but a Klingon warship, which came in handy when they landed in a park and used the cloaking device. So it really should be a Klingon warship. But still, it's the only time I've ever seen someone beam up a whale.

And it's the Monterey Bay Aquarium in the film, not San Francisco. They have a massive tank for the sharks and sea turtles and whatnot that they used for the whale scenes. Just in case we weren't nerdy enough here.
