Powder House Pub?

I know this is a little out of Davis, but there isn't a Ball Square community. Does anyone know what the deal is with the (former?) Powder House Pub on Broadway? They've been doing a lot of renovations and took down the sign, with the exception of the word "Pub." Anyone know when it's slated to reopen or any other info?

I was just talking to a friend about this. According tyo him, they're remodeling and re-opening, but they're "taking their time."

I talked to the owner last week and he said they might be reopening Wednesday (Yesterday). I took a look inside, it has lots of new plasma TVs.

my friend and i were wondering the same thing. she lives over towards powderhouse, on Bay State or one its parallels. maybe she is up at the magoun saloon?

She has a name!! I think she was mightly pissed when she couldn't smoke in the bar anymore. If that didn't run her away, nothing will.

I don't think I've ever gone in there and not seen her giving me the evil eye.

i lived right around the corner from kelly's until last month and that was the Only Place i never bothered to stop at.
all damn year the italian Urban Gourmet failed to open, taunting my dreams of cheap pasta around the corner :(

i don't think that Urban will reopen anytime soon. if you're still in the 'ville, try City Slickers (over on Somerville Ave) it is owned by the original Urban owners, with the amazing pizza and a bunch of other things. plus, they deliver.
