Our favorite local Indian take-out & catering has once again been featured in the Globe's food section!

My favorite bit, because it's so true:
Eager customers line up out the door and onto the sidewalk waiting to get to the counter and see what the choices are that day. Bhetia has a devoted following and chats with each fan at the small counter, greeting many as old friends. It's more a community happening than a tedious wait in line.

Guru is also expanding into the space next door (where the Chinese restaurant was before the fire) and will have a much larger kitchen and larger take-out area including a few tables. Presumably in warmer weather, there will be tables outside on the patio, too.

If you haven't tried this place yet, get thee up the hill to Teele (and a bit past) and get some. They also catered the last Theatre@First cast party and there were rave reviews. Yumyum.

[I am in no way affiliated except as a happy customer.]

After reading the first article I got some folks together at work, and now Pushp delivers lunch to us once a week. The only disadvantage is that I don't want Indian food from anywhere else anymore. Today was chicken korma and it was amazing.

If you have the catered lunches every day, and he catered all of them, that might become excessively boring.

This place has by far the shadiest storefront I've ever seen. It *always* smells good though. It'll be pretty cool to see it spruced up and I'll definitely be eating there more.

Yeah, I've basically walked by it in the dark and just seen an open door with a sign on it. Part of me wondered what the deal was, it wasn't until I started hearing raves that I figured it out.

It will be cool, but also a shame to lose the shady storefront. I like getting great food from a secret hole in the wall.

Unless that's going to start in the next week or two, might as well wait until May.

Pshaw. I'd totally eat outside in the sleet and freezing rain. ;-)
