I voted at the Methodist church on Chapel Street, Ward 6-3. There was a line but it was moving quickly - I arrived at 8:10, left at 8:24. How are the lines elsewhere?
Has anybody gone to the Fire station on highland in recent hours? I have a disabled friend who can't really wait in these long lines. I'd imagine they'd get longer as the day progresses, with work getting out and such.
At Argenziano, one of the poll workers came outside and asked the end of the line "Is there anyone here with a handicap or disability who has special needs?" or something like that. Nobody did, in that case, but maybe if someone did they'd get to go towards the front of the line...?
Thanks for your replies. Her disability isn't really visible. She was going to do the absentee ballot but figured she'd be able to get there. I told her she should do it anyway for elections now on. She agreed, lol. I was going to make a separate thread for it but wasn't sure if it would be seen as a repeat thread since it had to do with lines. Again, thanks for the replies and advice.
