Arts at the Armory update meeting - Wed 11/19

Alderman Sean O'Donovan, of Ward 5, is convening an abutter and
community meeting about Arts at the Armory on Wednesday, November 19
from 7 PM to 8:30 PM at the Little Sisters of the Poor, 2nd Floor
Patio Room, 186 Highland Avenue (right across from the Armory).

This meeting will provide an opportunity for the neighborhood to learn
more about the Armory's planned activities, classes and programs, to
meet Armory tenants, to get questions answered and to tour the Armory
after the meeting.

Why not just have the whole thing at the Armory? (I know you're just the messenger here, Ron.)

Maybe it's not quite finished enough? Dunno.

Probably because there is no finished space for the general public to gather there yet. Although the rental units are finished and rented, the performance space is still a construction site.

Did anyone here attend the meeting?

It was a fantastic meeting (even though the tour of the Armory did not happen)! People were happy and excited that this long project is finally coming to fruition. Once the Armory is in full swing with the performance space it will be a huge asset to the city.
