Jul. 21st, 2004 10:08 pmdoes anyone know if there is a law about when a realtor can legally cash the fee?
i dated a realtor fee check for the 20th, and he cashed it on the 19th, thus winding me with overdraft fees, because the money i was waiting for wasn't posting until the 20th. and to top it off, we signed the lease, tonight, the 21st.
p.s. i know that post dating a check does not matter, it can be cashed at any time, but shouldn't the realtor not cash his fee until the lease is signed?
