I recently volunteered to find a bike rack for my church, one capable of holding at least six bikes. No problem finding one on the net (i.e., http://bikeracks.com/), but if there's a business or rehab site in the local area that's removing one, that's obviously easier on the staff budget. It would also be nice to support a local machine shop or metal worker, if they fabricate them somewhere in Boston. Anyone know of a good candidate?

Simmons College is ripping out a bunch of bike racks. This actually pisses me off because I hate the ones they're replacing them with, but maybe some good can come of it? :)

Oh, man, that's great! I mean, it's still kind of annoying because I'll probably have to park there and walk to the academic side, but it is way better than not having anywhere useful to park. (And I thought it was pretty bizarre of them to just rip out bike parking, rather than augment it. But this makes more sense.)
