Am I crazy or is U2 setting up at the Somerville Theatre right now for a performance tonight?

Did a walk around at 5:15 pm...the circus has definitely started.
- four news crews camped on Day Street,
- Meacham Rd closed from Day around behind the theater to the curve of the park behind the T, lots of big trucks and roadies on the pavement hauling out stuff, working on big pipes and spray painting string? Several people were standing the park watching...
-We had dinner at the Joshua Tree, and one of the news crews wandered in there, shined the bright lights and chatted up patrons.

You know, when I walked past the theatre's back side this morning, in my befogged early morning cursing DST state, I thought it was unusual that a group would be hauling stuff into the theater at such a godforsaken hour. I completely forgot about U2.

No Low key acoustic style U2 performance- a lot of trucks for 5 songs and Q&A. So this is most likely happening; good to know at least we will know why there might be 20,000 people in Davis square on Wednesday night

According to the director of my daughter's daycare (which is right smack in the middle of the square), parts of Holland, Meacham, and potentially numerous smaller side streets are to be closed starting at 11am.

That's a different event. From the press release six days ago for the "3 Nights Live" broadcast promotion:
"Beginning in Los Angeles on Monday, March 9th, the broadcast will feature an inside look at the making of No Line On The Horizon. The band will play selections from the album and discuss the recording process, concepts and ideas behind the new album. The LA event will be hosted by Shirley Manson...

On Tuesday, March 10th, the band travels to Chicago for part two of the broadcast series. Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen, Jr. and Adam Clayton will host a radio takeover hour, along with Ms. Manson, as the band will broadcast a one hour live show as guest deejays.
