Why don't you like it? Just curious... I mean, it's not crazy-flavorful and greasy goodness like some places, but it definitely represents that whole "frying to lock in natural goodness" that Southerners bust out for those deep-fried Thanksgiving turkeys, etc.

Just saw this followup. Sorry ... it's not you it's me.

I think the chicken at Coast tastes burnt. I really really want to like it, and I've tried several times at different times of the day, but I just don't care for it. Your mileage may vary.

Yeah, I guess I can see that... the coating doesn't have much flavor, so it can taste kinda blehhh. I just loooove the straight up chickeniness it manages to bring out, though. :)
