Theatre@First toasts Shakespeare anew with 'The Winter's Tale.' Eight shows, with original live music. Directed by Kamela Dolinova.

The Winter's Tale,' one of Shakespeare's late tragicomedies, is gripping, funny, mysterious and beautiful. From the ruin and passionate remorse brought about by a king's rage, this play builds to one of the most magical and joyful conclusions in all of theatre.

A jealous king nearly topples his own kingdom when he falsely accuses his queen of adultery with his childhood friend. Years later, in the pastoral landscapes of his old friend's kingdom, the seeds are planted for reunion, redemption, and rebirth.

Totally agree, Ron! How cool is it that Actors' Shakespeare Project decided to locate at the Armory?
Also, people, not only see their current show 'Coriolanus' but look at some of the outreach 'come watch a fight choreography!' 'come talk about da Bard' events they're up to (scroll down the show page)

Very very cool. They are my neighbors now!

The production of Coriolanus makes awesome use of the new performance space (hard to believe it was was the old dingy drill hall!) It's a really versatile space.
