Boston Burger Company is now open in the space formerly occupied by Antonia's, next to JP Licks. Contrary to earlier rumors, they did not expand into the former Breathe Spa space next door; that is still vacant.
Their web site appears to be BostonBurgerCo.com. They have menus posted outside, but the menus do not list the URL.That may be just as well, since the menu on the web site is far too small to read easily (at least, for someone my age). I would e-mail them, except that the Contact Us page contains only directions, and no actual contact info.
EDIT 5:15 pm:Here's a link to a fully readable image of the menu. There's also now an e-mail address on the Contact Us page.
EDIT 4/7, 8 pm: Here's a link to a fully readable image of the menu. Dear Boston Burger Company: please don't move it again.

Date: 2009-04-06 04:27 pm (UTC)To be fair, they haven't advertised this web site anywhere, so they probably don't intend for anyone to be looking at it yet. I found it purely by guesswork.

Date: 2009-04-06 04:42 pm (UTC)They have a "artery clogger" which involves chicken-fried burger and bacon, "The King" which involves peanutbutter, bananas and bacon (on a burger??? EWWWW) and a conch burger.

• A side of fries is $4? A side of sweet potato fries is $7!?
• "South Western Egg Rolls"?

Date: 2009-04-06 08:21 pm (UTC)also, if the sweet potato fries are made int eh same fryer as the regular fries, then the longer cooking time doesn't matter. the fryers are on and heated no matter what you put in them and they remain on until the kitchen closes. it uses no more energy to cook one thing over another. now, if these special fries are cooked in a pan or something, then that is a different story.

Date: 2009-04-06 09:27 pm (UTC)Also odd that the base burger is $7.50, yet you can add a burger to one of the salads for only $2.
And I swear there's another burger joint I've been to somewhere here in town where they also charge extra to sub in a veggie burger.

Date: 2009-04-07 11:39 pm (UTC)I didn't get any, but the fries were huge steak fries and looked yummy.
The wife got a caesar salad, it was pretty big, she thought the dressing was ok, but the size made up for it...
the wait staff and owners (at least I think they were the owners) were great.
all in all, I think the bbc will be a great addition to the square.

Date: 2009-04-08 06:45 pm (UTC)If their burgers come with (handmade?) chips and a side of slaw or beans, they should definitely add that info to the menu. It makes ordering a $9 burger an easier decision.
