Yard Waste pickup?

I did a lot of yard work this weekend and put all the leaves and related baloney in the designated yard waste bags. Simple question: is there a certain day for yard waste trash pickup or is it the same as regular trash pickup? I checked Somerville's webpage and it was not very clear in this regard.

A lot of the useful info on the 'Ville's website used to at least (and probably still is) be in the form of printed documents that had been scanned and posted as jpegs. This means that if you follow all the links and navigate all over the site, you'll find what you need eventually, but if you use either Google, or the Search bar on S'ville's own site, you'll never find it. Eventually they'll catch on and start getting the info up in html, but for now machine searches rarely do the trick.

I've always been able to find the environmental services brochure PDF (which includes the yard waste pickup calendar) by googling Somerville yard waste [year]. Dunno why it worked for me. This year, of course, it brought up the page listed above.

We just got a brochure in the mail with this year's yard waste schedule - I thought everybody got one.

Everyone should have - but if *everyone* is like my neighbors they didn't bother to pick them up and look at them.
