Pick your own?

Does anyone know of a pick-your-own strawberry place in the area? Preferably on the T? There used to be one near my grandmother's in Concord, but they closed when I was in High School.

Ooh--pick your own strawberry sites? I did not even know of such places. I would like to know this, too.

They're more common away from the city. The on my family goes to is in Franklin, but I'm not sure if I want to drive an hour each way to go strawberrying.

There's a commuter train to Franklin. How close is the farm to either of the train stations there?

Far enough that biking is required, and I'd rather not try to balance baskets of berries on a bike. Franklin is a big town, and the cost for the commuter rail tickets is rather large.

I once did some picking of exquisite peaches in Japan, only to have their delicateness reduced to pulp by the vibration of my bicycle. Not recommended.

parlee's farm in chelmsford had huuuuge fields of pick your own strawberries. not T accessible unfortunately and a bit far for most folks in boston.

generally as soon as you go outside the 495 belt, they are everywhere :)
