Small dixie cups?

Where do I find these? You know - the tiny paper ones you use for jell-o shots. I've checked CVS, the dollar store, and a few grocery stores with no luck. :/

Time is kind of important, they're for a birthday party and I had no idea they'd be so difficult to find. Yay, I found a Foodmaster that had them! Thanks guys.

While I'm here - any leads on a basic, inexpensive, 16"x20" black picture frame would be fabulous! TJMaxx had nothing, and all the frame stores in the area only seem to carry ridiculously expensive frames that aren't what I need.

I second this. Though the sushi post was the best use of that icon, evar.

I'm shocked that cvs didn't have the cups, since they're usually used in dispensers in bathrooms (we had one when I was little) If all else fails, get yourself some ice cube trays and make the shots in those, a little messier, but it will work!

Yup, this, and sometimes they have tiny dixie cups for crafty stuff, too. There's also the Christmas Tree Shop in the same plaza who might have the cups.

I've been known to run them through the dishwasher, with the heated dry option turned off. But I'm not sure the curled rim of the cup can be cleaned very well.

Goodwill on Elm St. in Davis Square and the Salvation Army on Broadway in Winter Hill often have picture frames for cheap, though of course you might be out of luck if your needs are that specific.

I saw the old-school paper Dixie cups at Target.
I'd try Pearl in Central Square for the frame.

Artist and Craftsman Supply in Central Sq. has a huge selection of inexpensive frames, some of which are also "cheap" and some of which cost just a little more and are decent inexpensive frames. I highly recommend them. (They're across the street from Pearl Arts and Crafts, at the Central Square T-stop. Also really nice, smart, friendly people at A&C.

I don't know if it counts as "in the area," but whenever I need a larger picture frame I go to IKEA. The sizes are measured in cm rather than inches, but it's generally close enough to make it work. As long as you buy a frame that's bigger than the artwork, you can always have a custom mat cut for it (cheaper than a whole custom frame job).

The cheapest 16 x 20 picture frames you can get are in college bookstores. There are four separate black plastic sides, not unlike the kind you'd use for "binding" with a clear report cover, and it comes with a sheet of plastic instead of glass.

Since it's mid-May and Harvard undergrad lets out in a couple of weeks, I'd see if I could get one that a departing Harvard kid left on the corner or is selling at a yard sale. Doesn't get cheaper than that.

In the future, I'd recommend those small little salad dressing cups with lids they sell at costco or bj's. The jello separates better, and you can snap the lid on for portability. I'm too old for this crap now, but I just thought I'd pass on my wisdom.

For frames: Artist & Craftsman Supply in Central Square, Blick's in Central Square, or Pearl Arts & Crafts in Central Square. I've bought several 24" x 36" black "fake wood" frames from them for between $15 and $20 each.
