Tax attorneys

I know there's a lot of previous posts on tax accountants, but I got myself in a bit of a situation with the IRS, and I think I should at least consult with a lawyer about it. Anyone have a local recommmendation for those type of services?

Usually they have free or almost free legal services. I assume you don't, though...

I've had a good experience with Diane O'Brien (http://www.yelp.com/biz/diane-o-brien-e-a-somerville), whose office is right in the heart of the square. (Edit, I don't think she's a laywer, though. She is a tax preparer, if that helps).

Diane O'Brien is an "enrolled agent," which means she didn't just hang out a shingle to do taxes without the appropriate training (as some do). I used her for the first time this year and was quite happy with the results. She even caught a major error on a previous return (which had been prepared by an H&R Block ninny). I recommend her.
