I stopped in Porter Square Galleria yesterday and Blockbuster Video is closing their shop (lease is up).
Cantabrigia says that their last day is August 23: http://ow.ly/gcen
Entire inventory on sale. Most everything is at least 25% off, still a sizable amount of media and trinkets available.
Anyone have further information? What kind of shop would work there in its place? A clothing store would do well there, with the Gap and Burlington Coat Factory gone...

Cool! Never liked that sleezy Blockbuster!

Date: 2009-07-03 07:37 pm (UTC)(A 5 day turnaround normal for movies, and the subscription price was double, and then there was that time that I turned it in to their store, and it took 3 times as long for them to acknowledge that I had turned in a movie.)
I cancelled my free subscription just in time, because Blockbuster Online DO NOT WANT.
