Apartment Wanted for September 1st- we've been having trouble finding what we need on Craiglist, so we figured it wouldn't hurt to post here.

We're two friendly, vaguely nerdy 27-year-old women in search of the perfect 2 bedroom apartment, ideally located within a 10-12 minute walk to the Davis T (Porter Square T is ok too), with a maximum rent of $1600 a month (less is awesome). We have 1 cat and 1 car, and need to find a place where the cat is welcome, and the car can find parking (off-street is best, but on-street permit parking is fine).

We'd love a place with a dishwasher and laundry in the building.

I am in the process of moving out of my place. $1450 a month 2 bedroom 2 floors laundry in basement no dishwasher but you could set up a portable. It has parking a large backyard and a deck. Pets usually allowed just ask. It has hardwood floors for the dining and living room, bedrooms are very large and carpeted. Great neighborhood. You would pay utilities.

No his name is Steve and his last name is not Forte but he has it under a management company right now since he had to move across the country.

We just listed our apartment with this broker. It's a little further away from Davis but its a good area and the last tenants (two women) lived here for 4 years. Two cats are fine also. Painting is done now btw.

I'm moving out of a place that's at Pritchard and Boston in Somerville, 10-15 minutes to Davis and Porter. It fits all your criteria except there's only on-street parking. If you're still looking, message me through LJ and I'll give you my landlady's phone number.

I am moving into a 4-unit building near Powderhouse on Sep 3. There are still two units available: a 2br on the second floor, and a 1br on the third floor with the same layout (which could be converted into a 2br with a divider or tall bookshelves or something). They are asking $1700 for each on Craigslist (http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/abo/1300367417.html), but would probably be willing to negotiate.
