I finally had a chance to check out the newish Tibetan restaurant Davis Square, Marisa on Elm (next door to Cristos Pizza). The staff were incredibly pleasant and the food was reasonably priced ($42 for two people, including appetizers, entrees, one shared side, and beverages) and really delicious... I may become a regular. There is plenty of vegetarian food as well as meat dishes, ranging from traditional asian fare to spicy and unusual - something for everyone. I recommend you give it a try if you're looking for something new in the neighborhood! There are some take-out menus in a bin outside the restaurant.

To be totally honest, I looked at their menu and thought it seemed expensive for what you're getting. If I'm going to spend upwards of $10 an entree, I'd probably go to Namaskar across the street. Which is too bad, 'cause I was looking forward to seeing Marisa open. Was there anything about the food at there that made it seem especially memorable?
